York Worldwide Technologies is excited to announce the registration opening for the North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. EDI Testing and Certification Campaign (N402026) for EDI onboarding of suppliers effective immediately. Vendors who complete the EDI Testing & Certification will eliminate most production document errors, increase fulfillment efficiency, and reduce costs in order processing as compared to non-EDI order processing. EDI exchange saves the vendor and the retailer time and money compared to manual processing.
The North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. EDI Testing and Certification portal will have all steps and expectations outlined necessary for your move to production EDI document exchange.
Testing and certification will include the following North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. EDI documents:
- 850 Purchase Order
- 856 Advance Ship Notice
- 810 Invoice (North40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc.) Available as direct invoice optional test documents, only available if directed by the EDI team or your buyer (Opt-In/Out available when scheduling testing)
- Production EDI 810 Invoices against North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. issued Purchase Orders will continue to be submitted for Payment processing to Mid States Central Billing by Mid-States Central Billing authorized vendors, unless otherwise directed.
- 824 Application Advice / Error Notification response document
- 997 Functional Acknowledgement
The (N402026) Certification Campaign fee is $400.00 USD, invoiced to the certifying vendor by York Worldwide Technologies, North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. EDI & Certifications solutions provider.
You have a few options to consider before you begin testing:
#1: Bring Your Own VAN
If you have an existing VAN provider, you can register for EDI testing and certification (onboarding) for use during the North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. EDI Testing and Certification Campaign. This will allow you to setup your existing VAN and EDI ID for document exchange to test format, specification, connectivity, and mapping before being moved to production EDI document exchange with North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc.
#2: Sign up for York Worldwide Seldon™ Webforms, EDI FASTrack™, or FOUNDATION™ EDI Services
Seldon Webforms – For new Seldon Webforms subscribers, this cloud-based EDI solution will be ready to accept EDI documents from North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. setup as the initial Trading Partner, along with Mid States Central Billing setup for turn-around 810 invoice submissions. During the EDI Testing and Certification Campaign, Seldon Webforms is available for new subscribers for $49.95/month, billed annually, and includes up to 300 EDI documents per month. Seldon Webforms account setup and document mapping fees are waived for paid Certifying Vendors with North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. (Mid States Central Billing EDI Certification – MS2022A is required for submission of EDI 810 invoices to Mid States Central Billing for payment processing.)

- Supplier Company Name & assigned North 40 Outfitters / CSWW, Inc. vendor ID(s)

- If you are a Mid-States Central Billing authorized vendor

You can request information on an existing or new UN / PW via e-mail or by phone to allow you to self-register.

FAQs
- I already use an EDI provider (SPS, True Commerce, OpenText), do I need a York account too?
York is the EDI provider for North 40 Outfitters, so we do require you to have a testing account in order to go through the onboarding process. We do also encourage you to use our EDI services and join the York network, however you are welcome to continue using an existing EDI provider. - How long will this take me, and is there a testing deadline?
North 40 encourages you to have testing completed within 30 days of registration, and most vendors find that the 30-day window is more than enough time to complete onboarding. That being said, you may incur late fees and/or require an extension waiver if the 30-day testing window is not met. - I just completed onboarding through York for another Trading Partner, do I have to do it again?
Yes, North 40 uses their own specifications that will need to be mapped in your system. They also use their own unique ID and vendor numbers, so you will need to set them up as a separate Trading Partner.
